Default Trouble Codes

Thought i would list trouble codes for anyone who needs them....good luck!

TROUBLE CODES FOR 87-94 for
Dodge Shadow , Plymouth Sundance & Duster
CODE# DESCRIPTION
11 no distributor reference signal detected during engine cranking. Check the circuit between distributor and the computer.
__________________________________________________ _______________
12 problem with stand-by memory circuit. Direct battery input to controller disconnected within the last 50 ignition key-ons
__________________________________________________ _______________
13 indicates a problem with the map sensor pneumatic (vacuum) system
__________________________________________________ _______________
14 map sensor voltage too low or too high
__________________________________________________ _______________
15 a problem with the vehicle distance/speed signal. No distance/speed signal detected during road load conditions.
__________________________________________________ _______________
16 loss of battery voltage
__________________________________________________ _______________
17 engine is cold too long. Engine coolant temperature remains below normal operating temperatures during operation (check the thermostat).
__________________________________________________ _______________
21 problem with oxygen sensor signal circuit. Sensor voltage to computer not fluctuating.
__________________________________________________ _______________
22 coolant sensor voltage too high or too low. Test coolant temperature sensor.
__________________________________________________ _______________
23 indicates that the throttle body temperature sensor/ charge temperature sensor input is below the minimum acceptable voltage or the throttle body temperature sensor input is above the maximum acceptable voltage.
__________________________________________________ _______________
24 throttle position sensor voltage too high or too low. Test the throttle position sensor.
__________________________________________________ _______________
25 automatic idle speed (AIS) motor circuits indicate a shorted condition detected in one or more of the circuits. Check the circuits
__________________________________________________ _______________
26 peak injector current has not been reached (non-turbo) or a problem with an injector circuit (turbo). Check the injectors and electrical harnesses.
__________________________________________________ _______________
27 one of the injector control circuit output drivers does not respond properly to the control signal. Check the circuits.
__________________________________________________ _______________
31 problem with the canister purge solenoid circuit.
__________________________________________________ _______________
32 an open or shorted condition detected in the EGR transducer solenoid circuit. Possible air/fuel ratio imbalance not detected during diagnosis.
__________________________________________________ _______________
33 air conditioning clutch relay circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the air conditioning clutch relay circuit.
__________________________________________________ _______________
34 open or shorted condition detected in the speed control vacuum or vent solenoid circuits.
__________________________________________________ _______________
35 radiator fan relay circuit indicates an open or shorted condition.
__________________________________________________ _______________
36 indicates a problem with the waste gate solenoid circuit(turbo models) or the air switching solenoid circuit(non-turbo).
__________________________________________________ _______________

37 Torque converter unlock solenoid circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the toque converter part throttle unlock solenoid circuit(automatic transaxle models only)
__________________________________________________ _______________
41 problem with the charging system. Occurs when battery voltage from the ASD relay is below 11.75-volts.
__________________________________________________ _______________
42 auto shutdown relay (ASD) control circuit indicates an open or shorted circuit condition.
__________________________________________________ _______________
43 problem with the spark interface/injection control circuit.
__________________________________________________ _______________
44 no FJ2 voltage present at controller. Failure in the computer.
__________________________________________________ _______________
45 map sensor reading above over boost limit detected.
__________________________________________________ _______________
46 charging system voltage too high. Computer indicates that the battery voltage is not properly, regulated. Check the computer.
__________________________________________________ _______________
47 charging system voltage too low. Battery voltage sense input below target charging voltage during engine operation and no significant change in voltage detected during active test of alternator output.
__________________________________________________ _______________
51 oxygen sensor signal input indicates lean fuel/air ratio condition during engine operation.
__________________________________________________ _______________
52 oxygen sensor signal input indicates rich fuel/air ratio condition during engine operation.
__________________________________________________ _______________
53 internal computer failure detected.
__________________________________________________ _______________
54 problem with the distributor synchronization circuit.
