Default Good cheap CD player?

Anyone know of a good cheap CD player available? The one I have in the truck now skips if you blow on it! I'd like to have one with the USB port so I can just put my music on a flash drive, but it's not a necessity.

cheap and cd player don't go together very well. if you have a mp3 player and fm transmitter that would also work and be cheaper than a new stereo and a flash drive if your current stereo is decent.

Very true, just thought it was worth asking. As for the mp3 player, I don't have one and probably won't.

As for my current stereo, it's FAR from descent. I suppose can't complain too much since it was basically free (pulled out of a junk van I scrapped), but it skips if you breathe on it, has no station presets, and barely picks up a signal . If I had known all this before I went to the trouble installing it, I would have just tossed it, kicked myself in the ass and called it a day .
Sorry for the rant, just needed to vent a little .

Honestly though you would be better off getting a cheap one with usb only and buying a used ipod or knock off mp3 player. they are better and no worries of skipping no matter what kind of bumps you hit. I have a 6 disc cd changer in my truck and i use my ipod. Cd's will skip on the bumpy roads.

I was considering that. Wmart has a couple for around $100 with the head-phone type plug in, but I'd lose an mp3 player too easy. (If it weren't for bad luck I'd have none at all!) I can get a flash drive that attaches to a key chain to keep me from losing it. That's why I wanted to go that route.

I bought my ipod for 15 bucks used. Works great with mine as i use the cassette player adapter for it. just leave the ipod in my truck. if it gets stolen im not out that much.

Not a problem. usually website has better ones. I believe you can have them order it at your local walmart or do it online and have it sent to local one to save shipping.

Thanks, man but I'm holding off on getting one now since the truck is for sale. If I decide to keep it I'll definitely get ahold of you, though.

I like Pioneer players. As long as you get one that you can really fine tune the sound on.
I paid like 230 for mine

wiring is easy. you can wire any stereo into any vehicle but the big thing would be the mounting holes that hold it in. i am almost certain in 2002 they moved the mounting holes.
